This platform operates under the principles of the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 [Act 711]. We facilitate the disclosure of “improper conduct,” including deceptive business practices and misleading financial offers.

  • Immunity from Legal Action: Under Section 7 of Act 711, whistleblowers who disclose improper conduct in good faith are granted immunity from both civil and criminal proceedings.
  • Protection Against Reprisal: The Act strictly prohibits “detrimental action,” which includes any form of intimidation, harassment, or threats intended to silence the informant.

2. Defense Against Defamation [Defamation Act 1957]

All content on this site is protected by the legal defenses of Justification and Fair Comment.

  • Justification (Truth): We do not publish false allegations. Our reports are based on documented evidence, including first-hand chat logs and metadata from official documents provided by the organizations themselves.
  • Fair Comment: Our analysis constitutes an honest opinion on a matter of public interest—specifically, the prevention of consumer fraud and transparency in education.

3. Anti-Intimidation Policy

We take a zero-tolerance stance against attempts to silence public interest reporting through intimidation.

  • Criminal Intimidation: Threats made to cause alarm or force the removal of truthful information may be reported under Section 506 of the Penal Code.
  • Harassment: Using network facilities to “annoy, abuse, threaten or harass” is a violation of Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

4. Data Transparency

Identifying information found within the metadata of documents distributed to the public (such as PDF author tags) is treated as a matter of public record. This project is dedicated to providing accurate information for consumer protection and carries no malice toward any individual.

5. Official Reporting

We encourage all visitors to report potential scams to the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) at 997 or the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to ensure full protection under the law.

6. Privacy & Tracking Policy

To maintain the security and transparency of this platform, we use basic web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to track site traffic.

  • What We Track: We collect non-identifiable data such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic location (city/country level). This data is used solely to measure the reach of our consumer awareness efforts.
  • Consent: By continuing to use this site, you acknowledge our use of these analytics. You may opt-out by using browser extensions or disabling cookies.
  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, trade, or share visitor data with third-party marketers. Data is only processed for the “prevention or detection of crime” and public education.
  • Third-Party Hosting: This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitor IP addresses for security and integrity purposes as part of its standard global operations.
